มองสังคมผ่านภาษาจากวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่นภาคใต้เรื่องพระยาชมพู (A View on the Society through Language from “Phrayachomphu”, the Southern Thai Literary Work)

Abstract

บท ความนี้เป็นการนำเสนอภาพสังคมท้องถิ่นภาคใต้ที่ปรากฏในวรรณกรรมเรื่องพระยา ชมพู ซึ่งจากการศึกษาพบว่า วรรณกรรมเรื่องนี้มีภาษาที่สะท้อนภาพสังคมความเป็นคนถิ่นใต้ ภาพสังคมนักปราชญ์ ภาพสังคมการค้า ภาพพลังศรัทธาความเชื่อในสังคม และภาพสังคมการปกครอง การมองสังคมผ่านภาษาจากวรรณกรรมเรื่องนี้ จึงเปรียบได้กับกระจกที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงสภาพชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ ความนึกคิด ความเชื่อ และค่านิยมของกลุ่มชน ที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปตามลำดับยุคสมัยจากคนรุ่นหนึ่งไปสู่คนอีกรุ่นหนึ่ง ซึ่งแตกต่างจากยุคปัจจุบัน
This article presented an image of local society of southern part which appeared in “Phrayachomphu”, the Southern Thai Literary Work. In this study, it was found that literary work had language which reflected an image of society of southern local humanity, an image of society of sages, an image of society of commerce, an image of power of faith and belief in society and an image of society of government. Looking at the society through language from this literary work can be compared with a mirror which reflected ways of life, concept, faith and social value which had a change of age respectively from one generation to another generation that was different from current age.
