Abstract

การวิจัยเป็นวิธีการแสวงหาความรู้ใหม่โดยใช้กระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ซึ่งมี
จุ ดมุ่งหมายสำคั ญเพื่อการอธิ บาย (Explanation) ทำนาย (Prediction) และควบคุ ม
(Control) ปรากฏการณ์ ต่างๆ ทั้ งทางด้ านวิ ทยาศาสตร์ และสั งคมศาสตร์ โดยทั่วไปแล้ ว
นั กวิ ชาการได้ จั ดแบ่งประเภทของงานวิ จั ยตามเกณฑ์ ประโยชน์ อั นที่จะเกิ ดขึ้ นจาก
การศึ กษาวิ จั ยออกเป็ น 2 ประเภทใหญ่ๆ คื อ การวิ จั ยบริ สุ ทธิ์ (Pure Research) และ
การวิจัยประยุกต์ (Applied Research) ซึ ่งสำหรับการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Action Research)
เป็นการวิจัยประยุ กต์ โดยเป็ นการวิ จั ยที่มุ่งนำผลที่ได้ จากการศึ กษาวิ จั ยไปใช้ ในการปฏิ บั ติ
พั ฒนาปรั บปรุ ง ผลการปฏิ บั ติ งานขององค์ กรให้ มี ประสิ ทธิ ภาพและประสิ ทธิ ผลสู งสุ ด
เน้ นการประยุ กต์ ใช้ ความรู้ เทคโนโลยี และนวั ตกรรม ที่ได้ จากการศึ กษาวิ จั ยมากกว่า
การมุ่งสร้ างและพั ฒนาองค์ ความรู้ (Body of Knowledge) ของศาสตร์ นั้ นๆ โดยใน
ศาสตร์ การบริ หารการศึ กษา (Educational Administration) จะให้ ความสำคั ญทั้ ง
การวิ จั ยบริ สุ ทธิ์ และการวิ จั ยประยุ กต์ ขึ้ นอยู่กั บระดั บของการแสวงหาและการใช้ องค์
ความรู้ ของศาสตร์ บริ หารการศึ กษานั้ นๆ ว่าจะเป็ นในลั กษณะของการมุ่งเป็ นนั กวิ ชาการ
(Academic) หรื อเป็ นผู้ บริ หาร (Administrator) สำหรั บนั กบริ หารการศึ กษามื ออาชี พที่
จำเป็ นต้ องสร้ างระบบการศึ กษา และการบริ หารจั ดการของสถานศึ กษา โดยมี เป้ าหมาย
มุ่งสู่การพั ฒนานั กเรี ยนเป็ นคนเก่ง คนดี คนมี ความสุ ข และสร้ างคุ ณลั กษณะของการเป็ น
บุ คคลที่พึ งประสงค์ ในยุ คสั งคมแห่งการเรี ยนรู้ (Learning Society) ประกอบกั บแนวคิ ด
ของการบริ หารจั ดการศึ กษาโดยใช้ โรงเรี ยนเป็ นฐาน (School Based Management)
ที่มุ่งเน้ นการกระจายอำนาจการบริ หารทั้ งทางด้ านวิ ชาการ การงบประมาณ การบริ หาร

านบุ คคล และการบริ หารงานทั่วไปสู่สถานศึ กษาโดยตรง ระบบการบริ หารจั ดการศึ กษา
จึ งต้ องการคุณภาพ ประสิ ทธิ ภาพ และประสิ ทธิ ผลเป็ นอย่างยิ่ง ดั งนั้ นนั กบริ หาร
การศึ กษาจึ งจำเป็ นต้ องอาศั ยกระบวนการวิ จั ย เชิ งปฏิ บั ติ การสำหรั บใช้ เป็ นเครื่องมื อ
สำคั ญ ในการพั ฒนาระบบการบริ หารจั ดการการศึ กษา ของสถานศึ กษาให้ มี คุ ณภาพมาก
ยิ่งขึ้น
 
Research is an inquiry process which uses scientific method in
order to explain, predict, or control any phenomena in the fields of science
and social sciences. Generally, academics divide research into two general
categories: pure research and applied research. Specifically, action research is
a type of applied research. Action research is aimed to apply research
results into practice in order to develop and improve both effectiveness
and efficiency of organization. In addition, it focuses on the use of technology
and invention applied from research rather than creates or develops body
of knowledge. In the field of educational administration, researchers focus
on both pure research and applied research depending on the research
implications required for academic or administrator. Professional
administrators are required to create educational system and school
management system. The primary aim of this is to promote students to be
smart and virtuous, and encourage good characteristics of students in the
learning society. According to school-based management, it emphasizes
the distribution of academic affair, budget, personnel management, and
general management into schools. Therefore, administrators are unavoidably to
employ action research as a tool to promote a quality school management
system
