จากเสภาเรื่องขุนช้างขุนแผน ตอนแต่งงานพระไวยเป็นบทละครรำเรื่องขุนช้างขุนแผน ชุดแต่งงานพระไวยพระราชนิพนธ์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (From Sepha Khun Chang Khun Phaen the Wedding of Phra Wai)

Abstract

พระ บาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงดัดแปลงบทเสภาเรื่องขุนช้างขุนแผนตอน แต่งงานพระไวยให้เป็นบทละครรำที่ยังคงเนื้อหาเหมือนเดิมทั้งที่ทรงปรับให้ กระชับขึ้น ทรงปรับเปลี่ยนคำให้สื่อความได้ชัดขึ้นและมีความไพเราะมากขึ้น เห็นบทบาทของตัวละครแต่ละตัวเด่นชัดขึ้น และมีความสนุกสนานมากขึ้นสมเป็นบทละ

King Rama VI has adapted the Wedding of Phra Wai episode in the form of Bot Sepha Khun Chang Khun Phaen to be Bot Lakhon Ram. He is capable to maintain the story in Bot Sepha although his work is more concise, sounds more beautiful and communicates the message more clearly. This work portrays well the outstanding behaviors of each character and gives more pleasure and humor to the audience as a good Bot Lakhon Nok.
