แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติในวรรณกรรมเยาวชนเรื่อง “บ้านชายทุ่ง” The Themes on Nature in the young adult fiction of the "Baan Chai Thung"

Abstract

บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษา แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติในวรรณกรรมเยาวชนเรื่อง “บ้านชายทุ่ง” ผลการศึกษาพบแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติ 2 ลักษณะ คือ 1) หากมนุษย์รู้จักเก็บเกี่ยวผลประโยชน์จากธรรมชาติอย่างตระหนักในคุณค่า ธรรมชาติก็จะให้คุณแก่มนุษย์อย่างอเนกอนันต์ และ 2) หากมนุษย์เรียนรู้ที่จะอยู่กับธรรมชาติอย่างเข้าใจ มนุษย์ก็จะสามารถดำรงชีวิตอยู่ได้อย่างมีความสุข แนวคิดทั้ง 2 ประการนี้ มีความสอดคล้องกับแนวคิดจิตสำนึกเชิงนิเวศแนวดั้งเดิม ที่เห็นว่าธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นปัจจัยหลักในการผลิตทางสังคม ผู้คนในอดีตรู้สึกว่าตนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของธรรมชาติ สรรพสิ่งในธรรมชาติจึงมีความสัมพันธ์เชื่อมโยงกันอย่างใกล้ชิด ในลักษณะของการพึ่งพาอาศัยกัน ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญหนึ่งในการศึกษาวิจารณ์งานวรรณกรรมเชิงนิเวศ

Abstract

            The aim of this academic article was to study the concept of nature in the young-adult fiction named "Baan Chai Thung". The results show that there are 2 concepts concerning nature : 1) Supposing the human beings utilize their nature resource appreciatively, it will offer them a large number of advantages. 2) Provided that the human beings understandingly learn to live with nature, they can live with it happily. Additionally, both of them are congruent with the concept of traditional ecological consciousness, which deems that nature and environment are basic necessity for social production. Human beings in former times think that they belong to nature. Therefore, everything in nature is related intimately in the case of dependence, which is one of the important concept in Ecocriticism.
