การสืบทอดและการพัฒนาการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ ตำบลบ่อเกลือใต้ จังหวัดน่าน (The Inheritant and Development of Rock Salt Production in the Bor Kluar Tai Sub District, Bor Kluar District, Nan Province)

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ประวัติความเป็นมาของการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ของตำบลบ่อเกลือใต้ อำเภอบ่อเกลือ จังหวัดน่าน 2) กระบวนการผลิตและสภาพปัญหาของการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ของตำบลบ่อเกลือใต้ อำเภอบ่อเกลือ จังหวัดน่าน และ3) เสนอแนวทางการสืบทอดและการพัฒนาการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ของตำบลบ่อเกลือใต้ อำเภอบ่อเกลือ จังหวัดน่าน
ผลของการวิจัยพบว่า 1) การผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ ตำบลบ่อเกลือใต้ อำเภอบ่อเกลือ จังหวัดน่าน จากหลักฐานทางด้านประวัติศาสตร์สรุปได้ว่าน่าจะเกิดขึ้นช่วงเวลาใกล้เคียง กับการเกิดอาณาจักรสุโขทัย โดยชาวเชียงแสน 2) กระบวนการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ใช้การผสมผสานวิธีการผลิตหลายขั้นตอนที่แสดงถึง การสืบทอดภูมิปัญญาของชาวบ้านแต่อดีต ปัจจุบันการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ประสบปัญหา ราคาเกลือถูก สถานที่ผลิตและสถานที่สำหรับจำหน่ายมีอยู่จำกัด การผลิตเกลือไม่ได้ตลอดทั้งปี คนรุ่นใหม่ไม่สนใจประกอบอาชีพการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ และเชื้อเพลิงในการต้มเกลือสินเธาว์หาได้ยากและราคาแพง และ3) แนวทางการสืบทอดการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ที่น่าสนใจ คือ การจัดตั้งศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้การผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ บรรจุเรื่องการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ลงในหลักสูตรท้องถิ่น รัฐบาลมีส่วนในการสืบทอดและปลูกฝังให้เยาวชนรู้จักคุณค่าของการผลิตเกลือ สินเธาว์ การพัฒนาการผลิตเกลือสินเธาว์ควรยึดแนวทางการพัฒนาตามแบบทฤษฎี 5’P คือ ปรับปรุงรูปแบบบรรจุภัณฑ์ กำหนดราคาให้เหมาะสม กระจายสถานที่จำหน่ายไปตามแหล่งต่างๆ พัฒนารูปแบบของเกลือสินเธาว์ให้หลากหลาย และร่วมในรายการส่งเสริมการขายเพื่อนำเกลือสินเธาว์ออกสู่ตลาด

The objectives of this research were to study the following aspects: 1) the history of rock salt production in Bor Kluar Tai Sub District, Bor Kluar District, Nan Province; 2) the production process, the conditions and problems of rock salt production; and 3) to suggest the inherit of rock salt production.
The results showed that 1) for the history of rock salt production, it was not possible to determine exactly when people in Nan Province began to produce rock salt, but there is evidence to indicate that the practice dates back to the time when the Sukhothai Kingdom was founded. The Chiang Saen people are attributed with originating the rock salt production methods. 2) The rock salt production process utilizes a variety of techniques that are all proof of an intellectual heritage that has been passed down over the generations. At present the main problems with rock salt production are that the price of salt is low, there are limited places for selling the salt, there are limited production areas, it is not possible to produce salt all year long, younger generations are not interested in selling salt to make a living, and the fuel for boiling the salt is expensive and hard to find. 3)The important approach to inherit of rock salt production is to establish a learning center, that knowledge of traditional salt production should be incorporated in the curricula of local schools, and government agencies should take a part in teaching youth the value of traditional salt production. To develop rock salt production, the 5’P theory should be employed to improve packaging, pricing, and places for sales; to develop new forms and presentations for the product, and to promote the product.
