Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของดุษฎีนิพนธ์ เรื่อง  “เศรษฐศาสตร์การเมืองว่าด้วยการสะสมทุนทางการเมืองของตระกูลเทือกสุบรรณ” โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการสะสมทุนทางเศรษฐกิจ ทุนทางสังคม ทุนทางวัฒนธรรมและทุนทางสัญลักษณ์ ที่เป็นเงื่อนไขจำเป็นในการสะสมทุนทางการเมือง ในบริบทของตระกูลเทือกสุบรรณ ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการใช้เอกสารและการสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก (In-dept Interview) กับตระกูลเทือกสุบรรณ จำนวน 6 คน ข้าราชการ จำนวน 3 คน ผู้นำชุมชน จำนวน 3 คน รวม 12 คน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์แนวประวัติศาสตร์ เป็นการตีความข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การสะสมทุนทางการเมืองของตระกูลเทือกสุบรรณ ผ่านการสะสมทุน 4 รูปแบบ ที่เป็นเงื่อนไขของการสะสมทุนทางการเมือง ดังนี้ 1. การสะสมทุนทางเศรษฐกิจอยู่ในรูปแบบของการประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรม รับราชการ และธุรกิจส่วนตัว  2. การสะสมทุนทางสังคมอยู่ในรูปแบบของการอุทิศตนเพื่อสังคม การทำโครงการ และการจัดตั้งสหกรณ์ 3.การสะสมทุนทางวัฒนธรรมอยู่ในรูปแบบของการศึกษา สถาบันการศึกษาและกีฬา 4.การสะสมทุนทางสัญลักษณ์อยู่ในรูปแบบของการเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของการเป็นข้าราชการที่ดี เป็นข้าราชการกำนันที่มีวุฒิการศึกษาจากต่างประเทศ เป็นตัวแทนของการต่อต้านความไม่ยุติธรรม และเป็นผู้สร้างสัญลักษณ์แห่งการต่อสู้

Abstract:

This is a partial article of the dissertation called ‘Political Economy of Political Capital Accumulation: A Case Study of Thaugsuban Family’; intending to study the accumulation of economic, social, cultural, and symbolic capitals which are the vital conditions contributing to the accumulation of political capital in the context of Thaugsuban family. The qualitative research methods were used for data collection including document reviews and In – depth interviews with 6 Thaugsuban family members, 3 government officers, and 3 local community leaders. The data was analyzed by the Historical Approach and interview construe. It is found that the political capital accumulation of Thaugsuban family has been contributed by 4 forms of capital accumulation that are the vital conditions for political capital accumulation: 1.  Economic capital accumulation generated by working in agriculture, government agencies, and own businesses, 2. Social capital accumulation generated by working for public benefits, running projects, and establishing the cooperation, 3. Cultural capital accumulation generated by education, educational institutes, and sports, and 4. Symbolic capital accumulation generated by being the icon of good government officer, being the aboard graduated subdistrict headman, being the leader fighting against injustice, and creating the symbol of fighting.
