มันนิ-ซาไก : ดนตรีชนพื้นเมืองภาคใต้

บทคัดย่อ

          บทความวิชาการทางดนตรีฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาเครื่องดนตรีชาวมันนิ ชนพื้นเมืองทางภาคใต้ของประเทศไทย จากการศึกษาจากภาคสนามตามแนวคิดทางมานุษยดุริยางควิทยา  มีขอบเขตการแบ่งประเภทของเครื่องดนตรีและการเกิดเสียง โดยการแบ่งประเภทเครื่องดนตรีตามแนวคิดของของ ฮอร์น-ซัคส์  นักดนตรีวิทยาผู้คิดทฤษฏีการแบ่งประเภทเครื่องดนตรีการเกิดเสียง พบว่าเครื่องดนตรีชาวมันนิ มีทั้งหมด 3 ประเภท คือ ประเภท  1) คอร์ดโดโฟน ได้แก่ “บาแตช” “มงมูด” 2) ไอดิโอโฟน ได้แก่ “เซนตุง”, “ยาง่อง”, “กลองบัง” และ 3) แอร์โรโฟน ได้แก่ “เพนโซ” การศึกษาครั้งนี้พบว่าเครื่องดนตรีแต่ละชิ้นใช้วิธีการเล่นที่แตกต่างกัน เช่น การ ดีด เคาะ ดึง และเป่า และจากการวิเคราะห์จากเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องสรุปได้ว่า เครื่องดนตรีเหล่านี้ พบอยู่ทั่วในกลุ่มสังคมชนพื้นเมืองแบบเคลื่อนย้ายที่อาศัยทั่วไป

Abstract

          This musical academic article aims to study the musical instruments of Mani, the indigenous people in the Southern region of Thailand. This research was conducted by field studying according to anthropological concepts as well as focusing on musical instruments and sound production according to the concept of musical instrument classification by Horn-Sach, a musician who create the theory of musical instrument classification based on sound production. The study results can be found that there are 2 types of Mani musical instruments including Chordophone (i.e. Bamboo Tube Zither and Music Bowe) and Idiophone (i.e. Bamboo Stamp, Jaw's Harp and Bamboo Percussion).  Each musical instrument has different playing methods, such as strumming, knocking and pulling. According to the analysis from the related documents, it can be concluded that these musical instruments can be generally found in the group of indigenous society that always migrate their dwellings regularly.
