อุตสาหกรรมการบินเคยผ่านมาหลายวิกฤติการณ์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นวิกฤตทางเศรษฐกิจหรือวิกฤตเกี่ยวกับการแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อโรค จากอดีตที่ผ่านมาพบว่าหลังวิกฤตการณ์ต่าง ๆ ธุรกิจการบินจะเริ่มฟื้นตัวภายในระยะเวลาหนึ่งปี แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม วิกฤตการระบาดของ COVID-19 ที่เริ่มระบาดในช่วงปลายปี 2019 จากสาธาณรัฐประชาชนจีนไปสู่ทั่วโลก ถือว่าเป็นวิกฤตที่ส่งผลกระทบหนักที่สุดเมื่อเทียบกับวิกฤตการณ์อื่น ๆ ในอดีต เนื่องจากการระบาดดังกล่าวส่งผลกระทบต่อทุกอุตสาหกรรม โดยธุรกิจสายการบินได้รับผลกระทบอย่างหนักเป็นธุรกิจแรกๆ เนื่องมาจากโนยบายการการจำกัดการเดินทางและการปิดพรหมแดนของแต่ละพื้นที่/ประเทศ จากการระบาดในครั้งนี้มีหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องได้ออกมาตรการทั้งระยะสั้นและระยะยาวเพื่อจำกัดและป้องกันการแพร่เชื้อ บทความวิชาการนี้จะมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์วิกฤตที่เคยเกิดขึ้นในอดีตและผลกระทบที่ส่งผลต่ออุตสาหกรรมการบิน วิเคราะห์ถึงผลกระทบของ COVID-19 ต่อธุรกิจสายการบิน แนวโน้มของธุรกิจสายการบินหลังการระบาด รวมทั้งมาตรการระยะสั้นและระยะยาวอันสืบเนื่องมากจากการระบาดของ COVID-19

Abstract

          The aviation industry has experienced many crises, whether, the economic crisis or the pandemic crisis. According to the history, the industry was recovery after the crisis within a year. However, the COVID-19 outbreak crisis, which originally from the People’s republic of China in the late 2020 to world, is considered to be the most severe crisis compared to other crisis in the history. The outbreak affects all industries including airline business that has been heavily affected as the first business due to the travelling limitation and border closing policy in each country. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, relevant departments have issued both short-term and long-term measures to limit and prevent the spread of infection. The purpose of this academic paper is to analyze crises that have occurred in the past and their effects on the aviation industry, analyze the impacts of COVID-19 on airlines business, and trend of airlines business after pandemic including short-term and long-term measures that  have been ongoing since the outbreak of COVID-19.
