กการวิเคราะห์ตำรายาพื้นบ้านจากหนังสือบุด ของวัดแหลมทอง อำเภอเมืองฯ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี Literature Analysis of Local Medicine Texts from Bud Book of Lamthong Temple, Muang District, Suratthani Province

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งวิเคราะห์ตำรายาพื้นบ้านจากหนังสือบุดของวัดแหลมทอง จังหวัด สุราษฎร์ธานี มีวัตถุประสงค์ 2 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภูมิปัญญาทางภาษาที่ปรากฏในตำรายาพื้นบ้าน และ 2) เพื่อวิเคราะห์คุณค่าด้านคติความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมที่ปรากฏในตำรายาพื้นบ้าน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ด้านภูมิปัญญาการใช้อักษรและอักขรวิธีของต้นฉบับ ตำรายาพื้นบ้าน บันทึกด้วยหนังสือบุดขาว ด้านภูมิปัญญาการใช้กลวิธีในการบันทึก พบว่า ผู้บันทึกได้แสดงกลวิธีการบันทึกตำรายาพื้นบ้านให้มีความสัมพันธ์กับองค์ความรู้ของ หมอยาพื้นบ้าน คือ การใช้คำขึ้นต้นสูตรยา การใช้คำลงท้ายสูตรยา และการกล่าวถึง ที่มาของตำรับยา ส่วนภูมิปัญญาด้านศิลปะการใช้ภาษา ผู้บันทึกได้เลือกสรรถ้อยคำมาใช้ในตำรายาพื้นบ้านได้อย่างเหมาะสม ส่วนใหญ่ใช้คำภาษาไทยที่มีใช้ทั้งในภาคกลาง และภาคใต้และใช้คำที่เป็นภาษาถิ่นใต้โดยเฉพาะ นอกจากนั้นผู้แต่งยังได้นำคำศัพท์ ภาษาบาลีสันสกฤตที่แสดงความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของตำรับยาพื้นบ้านและพิธีกรรมที่ใช้รักษาโรคด้วย ด้านคติความเชื่อ พบว่า ตำรายาพื้นบ้านสะท้อนให้เห็นคติความเชื่อด้านพระพุทธศาสนา ได้แก่ เรื่องนรก เรื่องพระกัสสปพุทธเจ้า เรื่องพระรัตนตรัย และคติความเชื่อเรื่อง สิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติ ได้แก่ เรื่องสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เรื่องผี และเรื่องไสยศาสตร์ ส่วนด้านพิธีกรรม ได้กล่าวถึงพิธีกรรมการไหว้บูชาครูหมอยา และพิธีกรรมการตั้งเครื่องบัตรพลี เพื่อเซ่นสังเวยแม่ซื้อและภูตผีวิญญาณ ตำรายาพื้นบ้านจากหนังสือบุดของวัดแหลมทอง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ถือเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่สะท้อนภูมิปัญญาการรักษาโรคที่สืบทอดจากอดีตมายาวนาน และเป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญในการจรรโลงวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น จรรโลงสถาบันสังคมและควบคุม รูปแบบทางสังคมในยุคเก่าให้อยู่รอด ด้วยความศรัทธาของผู้คนที่มีต่อตำรายาพื้นบ้าน The study aims to analyze local medicine texts from Bud Book of Lamthong temple in Suratthani province. The objectives were to analyze not only language wisdom, but also beliefs value and rituals appeared in local medicine texts. The finding shows that the wisdom of alphabets using and writing method of the original local medicine textbook recorded in Bud Khao Book. In term of the wisdom in recording, the recorder recorded local medicine texts related to knowledge of folk physician in drug formula prologue, drug formula postscripts, and drug formula background. For the wisdom of language using skill, the recorder selected words in local medicine textbook properly. Most of the words are central Thai dialect, and Southern Thai dialect, and a particular words of Southern dialect were used. Moreover, the writer used Pali-Sanskrit vocabulary which represented the sacredness of local medicine texts and the ritual treatment. In term of beliefs, it was found that local medicine texts reflect the Buddhist beliefs, such as hell, Kassapa Buddha, and the Triple Gems. It is also showed the belief of supernaturalism such as ghosts, and superstition. In term of rituals, the recorder mentioned the worship of teacher of folk physician, and Batplee ritual to sacrifice to the spirits. To sum up, local medicine texts from Bud Book of Lamthong temple in Suratthani province is a cultural heritage that reflects the wisdom of diseases treating inherited from the past. It is an important tool in cultivating local culture, and sustaining social institutions, and controlling ancient social patterns in order to keep faith in the local medicine texts.
